Job Description
The Academic Coordinator for the Primary section of our school will be responsible for overseeing the academic programs and curriculum for students in grades 1-4. This individual will work closely with teachers, staff, and parents to ensure that the educational needs of all students are being met.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and implementing curriculum plans that align with educational standards and school goals
- Providing support and guidance to teachers in lesson planning, classroom management, and student assessment
- Monitoring student progress and academic performance, and implementing interventions as needed
- Collaborating with teachers to identify and address areas for improvement in curriculum and instruction
- Organizing and facilitating professional development opportunities for teachers to enhance their teaching skills
- Communicating regularly with parents to provide updates on student progress and address any concerns
- Participating in school leadership meetings and committees to contribute to overall school improvement efforts
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in education, with experience in curriculum development, teacher support, and student assessment. Excellent communication and organizational skills are essential, as well as a passion for supporting the academic success of all students. The candidate should be a graduate with a Bachelor's degree in Education.
