Job Description
The Academic Coordinator for School is responsible for overseeing the academic programs and curriculum at the school. This individual will work closely with teachers, staff, and administrators to ensure that the educational needs of students are being met. The Academic Coordinator will develop and implement strategies to improve student performance and achievement, as well as monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of instructional practices.
Key responsibilities include:
- Collaborating with teachers to develop and implement curriculum that aligns with state standards and school goals
- Providing professional development and support to teachers to enhance their instructional practices
- Monitoring student progress and implementing interventions as needed to support student learning
- Collecting and analyzing data to assess the effectiveness of instructional programs and make data-driven decisions
- Communicating with parents, teachers, and administrators to ensure a collaborative and supportive learning environment
- Participating in school leadership meetings and committees to contribute to school-wide initiatives and decision-making
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in education, excellent communication and organizational skills, and a passion for supporting student success. A master's degree in education or a related field is preferred.
