The Academic Coordinator for School is responsible for overseeing and coordinating all academic activities within the school. They work closely with teachers, students, and parents to ensure a high standard of education and academic achievement.
- Develop and implement academic policies and procedures to ensure effective teaching and learning.
- Collaborate with teachers to design and update curriculum materials, ensuring alignment with educational standards and objectives.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of instructional practices and provide feedback to teachers for improvement.
- Coordinate and conduct professional development programs for teachers to enhance their teaching skills and knowledge.
- Assist in the recruitment, selection, and orientation of new teachers, ensuring they meet the required qualifications and standards.
- Supervise and support teachers in their daily activities, providing guidance and resources as needed.
- Collaborate with other academic coordinators and administrators to ensure consistency and coherence in the school's educational programs.
- Communicate regularly with parents to provide updates on academic progress and address any concerns or issues.
- Organize and oversee standardized testing and assessments, analyzing results to identify areas for improvement.
- Stay up-to-date with educational trends and research, incorporating innovative practices into the school's academic programs.
Required Experience :
Minimum experience as Teacher : 7yrs and Minimum experience as Head post : 3-5yrs
- Master's degree in Education or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Proven experience in an academic leadership role, preferably as a coordinator or supervisor.
- Strong knowledge of educational standards, curriculum development, and instructional strategies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with teachers, students, and parents.
- Ability to analyze data and use it to inform decision-making and improve academic outcomes.
- Organizational and time management skills to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
