Job Description

The Academic Coordinator for School is responsible for overseeing and coordinating all academic activities within the school. They work closely with teachers, students, and parents to ensure a high standard of education and academic achievement.


  • Develop and implement academic policies and procedures to ensure effective teaching and learning.
  • Collaborate with teachers to design and update curriculum materials, ensuring alignment with educational standards and objectives.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of instructional practices and provide feedback to teachers for improvement.
  • Coordinate and conduct professional development programs for teachers to enhance their teaching skills and knowledge.
  • Assist in the recruitment, selection, and orientation of new teachers, ensuring they meet the required qualifications and standards.
  • Supervise and support teachers in their daily activities, providing guidance and resources as needed.
  • Collaborate with other academic coordinators and administrators to ensure consistency and coherence in the school's educational programs.
  • Communicate regularly with parents to provide updates on academic progress and address any concerns or issues.
  • Organize and oversee standardized testing and assessments, analyzing results to identify areas for improvement.
  • Stay up-to-date with educational trends and research, incorporating innovative practices into the school's academic programs.

Required Experience : 

Minimum experience as Teacher : 7yrs and  Minimum experience as Head post : 3-5yrs


  • Master's degree in Education or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • Proven experience in an academic leadership role, preferably as a coordinator or supervisor.
  • Strong knowledge of educational standards, curriculum development, and instructional strategies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with teachers, students, and parents.
  • Ability to analyze data and use it to inform decision-making and improve academic outcomes.
  • Organizational and time management skills to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic educational environment.
  • Passion for education and a commitment to fostering a positive learning environment.
