Job Description
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Assistant Teacher to join our pre-school team. The ideal candidate will have a love for working with young children and a desire to help them learn and grow in a safe and nurturing environment.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the lead teacher in implementing lesson plans and activities that promote the social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development of children
- Supervise and interact with children during playtime, mealtime, and outdoor activities
- Help maintain a clean and organized classroom environment
- Assist with the assessment of children's progress and communicate with parents about their child's development
- Collaborate with other staff members to create a positive and inclusive learning environment
Qualifications:
- Graduation or equivalent required; CDA or Associate's degree in Early Childhood Education preferred
- Previous experience working with young children in a childcare or educational setting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Patient, nurturing, and enthusiastic attitude towards children
