Job Description
We are seeking a knowledgeable and experienced Ayurveda Associate Professor to join our College/University faculty. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Ayurvedic principles, practices, and treatments, as well as a passion for teaching and mentoring students.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver engaging lectures and seminars on Ayurveda topics
- Mentor and advise students on academic and career goals
- Conduct research in the field of Ayurveda and publish findings in academic journals
- Participate in curriculum development and assessment
- Collaborate with colleagues on research projects and academic initiatives
- Participate in departmental meetings and university committees
Requirements:
- PhD in Ayurveda or related field
- Previous teaching experience at the college or university level
- Demonstrated expertise in Ayurvedic principles and practices
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and students
- Commitment to academic excellence and student success
