Job Description
We are seeking a knowledgeable and experienced Ayurveda Professor to join our College/University faculty. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Ayurvedic principles, practices, and treatments, as well as a passion for teaching and mentoring students.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver engaging lectures and seminars on Ayurveda topics
- Create and update course materials, including syllabi, assignments, and exams
- Mentor and advise students on academic and career matters
- Conduct research in the field of Ayurveda and publish findings in academic journals
- Participate in departmental meetings and committees
- Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development and program improvement
Qualifications:
- Ph.D. in Ayurveda or related field
- Previous teaching experience at the college or university level
- Demonstrated expertise in Ayurvedic theory and practice
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
