Job Description

The Centre Manager for Pre-School plays a pivotal role in fostering a nurturing and stimulating environment for young learners. This position is essential for driving the educational vision of the centre, ensuring that every child receives the highest quality of care and education. As a leader, you will collaborate with a dedicated team, promoting professional growth and innovative practices that enhance the learning experience.

In this role, you will:

  • Oversee daily operations of the pre-school, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and best practices.
  • Handling inquiries and convertingthem into admission 
  • Develop and implement engaging educational programs that cater to the diverse needs of children.
  • Lead, mentor, and support staff in their professional development, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
  • Build strong relationships with parents and the community, promoting the centre’s values and mission.
  • Monitor and assess children’s progress, implementing strategies to support their individual learning journeys.
  • Manage budgets and resources effectively, ensuring the sustainability and growth of the centre.
  • Conduct regular evaluations of programs and staff performance, using feedback to drive enhancements.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and innovations, integrating new ideas into the centre’s practices.
  • Ensure a safe, inclusive, and welcoming environment for all children and families.
  • Collaborate with external agencies and stakeholders to enhance service delivery and community engagement.

To excel in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
  • Proven experience in a leadership role within a pre-school or early childhood setting.
  • Strong understanding of child development principles and early learning frameworks.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with children, parents, and staff.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage budgets and resources efficiently.
  • Commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to adapt to changing circumstances and embrace new challenges.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations relevant to early childhood education.
  • Passion for early childhood education and a desire to make a positive impact on children’s lives.
