Job Description
We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Faculty of IT to join our academic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching, research, and service in the field of Information Technology.
Key Responsibilities:
Teaching
1. Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in IT, such as programming, data structures, algorithms, computer networks, and database systems.
2. Develop and deliver course materials, including syllabi, lecture notes, and assignments.
3. Evaluate student performance and provide feedback.
Research
1. Conduct research in IT, including publishing papers in reputable journals and conferences.
2. Develop and maintain a research agenda, including seeking funding and collaborations.
3. Supervise student research projects and theses.
Service
1. Participate in departmental, faculty, and university service, including committee work and administrative tasks.
2. Engage in community outreach and professional development activities.
3. Collaborate with industry partners and other stakeholders to advance the field of IT.
Requirements:
1. Ph.D. in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
2. Minimum 3-5 years of teaching experience in IT, with a strong track record of teaching and research.
3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with students, colleagues, and industry partners.
4. Strong research and publication record, with a focus on IT and related fields.
5. Familiarity with IT industry trends and technologies, including programming languages, software development methodologies, and IT infrastructure.
