The Hostel Warden for School is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the school hostel, ensuring the safety and well-being of the students residing in the hostel. The warden will be responsible for maintaining discipline, enforcing rules and regulations, and providing guidance and support to the students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and monitor the activities of the students in the hostel
- Ensure the safety and security of the students at all times
- Enforce hostel rules and regulations and address any disciplinary issues that may arise
- Provide guidance and support to students, including academic assistance and emotional support
- Coordinate with school administration, teachers, and parents to ensure the well-being of the students
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, behavior, and any incidents that occur in the hostel
- Organize and oversee recreational activities and events for the students
- Handle any emergencies or crises that may occur in the hostel
- Previous experience working with children or young adults
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to enforce rules and maintain discipline in a fair and consistent manner
- Ability to handle stressful situations and emergencies calmly and effectively
- Knowledge of child development and behavior management techniques
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility and willingness to work evenings and weekends as needed
