Roles and Responsibilities:
The incumbent will be responsible for the following:
- Work on development of experiments/exercises suitable for inclusion/betterment of laboratory courses.
- Assisting faculty and students during laboratory operations.
- Maintenance of the laboratory equipment and assisting/training in operating the machinery with standard safety procedures.
- Upkeep, replenishment and upgradation of inventory of laboratory consumables and equipment.
- Training/helping students in utilising tools and equipment in the process of innovative product development.
Skills Required:
- A B.Tech/B.E. in Mechanical/EEE/ECE/Instrumentation with 1-3 years of practical experience preferably from Industry
- Proficiency in usage of sensors and microprocessors
- Experience in machining operations using powertools preferable.
- Hands-on experience in the usage of lathe, milling, drilling machines would be an added advantage.
The candidate is expected to work closely with the faculty and students towards successful implementation of the laboratory work. The candidate would be given sufficient opportunities to be involved in the development of innovative ideas/products with student engagement.
