Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to manage our financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, salary processing, and statutory compliance. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles, a keen eye for accuracy, and the ability to handle sensitive data.

Key Responsibilities:

Accounts Payable:

  • Process, verify, and reconcile invoices and payment requests.
  • Monitor and track outstanding invoices and ensure timely payments.
  • Maintain accurate records of payments and expenses.
  • Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for any payment-related inquiries.

Accounts Receivable:

  • Generate and send invoices to clients in a timely manner.
  • Monitor accounts receivable to ensure timely collection.
  • Reconcile customer accounts and follow up on outstanding balances.
  • Prepare reports on receivable status and manage bad debts.

Bank Reconciliation:

  • Perform monthly bank reconciliations to ensure accurate financial records.
  • Investigate and resolve discrepancies in bank statements.
  • Reconcile company accounts and ensure that all transactions are recorded.

Salary Processing:

  • Process monthly payroll accurately and on time.
  • Ensure compliance with payroll regulations and deductions.
  • Maintain and update employee payroll records.
  • Handle payroll queries and provide support to employees on salary-related issues.

Statutory Compliance:

  • Ensure compliance with local tax and statutory regulations.
  • Manage filings and remittances for GST, TDS, PF, ESI, and other statutory requirements.
  • Maintain compliance with financial, legal, and company policies.
  • Liaise with auditors and government authorities as required.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in accounting or a similar role.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, SAP).
  • Excellent understanding of financial regulations and statutory requirements.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to handle sensitive financial data with confidentiality.
