Job Description
Title: Part-Time Math Instructor for a Games-Based Learning Program
Location: Bangalore (We will try to find you a community within 5 km of your base location)
Job Type: Part-Time (6-10 hours per week). Should be available in the evenings between 4 PM - 7 PM on weekdays.
About Us: Hands-on Math is on a mission to help students develop deep-conceptual understanding and problem-solving skills through play. We teach Math through manipulatives, games and open activities while avoiding worksheets and repeated drills. We run independent after-school programs at multiple communities around Bangalore.

Role Overview: We are looking for energetic, creative instructors to lead our offline after-school math sessions for children aged 5 to 12. You’ll guide small groups of kids through structured activities and games designed to develop essential math skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct engaging 60-minute math sessions twice a week per batch.
- Set up and pack up session materials before and after each session.
- Facilitate learning through interactive games, hands-on activities, and creative challenges.
- Ensure a supportive environment where kids feel motivated and excited about math.
- Monitor student progress and provide feedback.
What We’re Looking For:
- Strong passion for teaching and working with kids.
- Comfort with basic math concepts. Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Creative problem-solver who can think on their feet. Prior teaching/tutoring experience is a plus but not required.
