In this role, you will:
- Design and implement comprehensive lesson plans that align with the Cambridge curriculum, ensuring students grasp historical concepts and critical thinking skills.
- Facilitate engaging classroom discussions that promote student participation and a deeper understanding of historical events.
- Assess and evaluate student performance through various methods, providing constructive feedback to support their academic growth.
- Collaborate with fellow educators to develop interdisciplinary projects that connect history with other subjects, fostering a holistic learning experience.
- Utilize innovative teaching methods and technology to enhance student engagement and learning outcomes.
- Participate in school-wide initiatives and committees aimed at improving educational practices and student well-being.

To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and skills:
- A Bachelor’s degree in History, Education, or a related field; a Master’s degree is preferred.AND B.Ed in the relevant subject .
- Teaching certification relevant to the Cambridge Board curriculum would be an added advantage.
- Proven experience in teaching is required.
- Strong knowledge of historical events, theories, and methodologies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Ability to create a dynamic and interactive learning environment.
- Proficiency in using educational technology and digital resources to enhance teaching.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
