Job Description
The TGT History Teacher for Cambridge Board School plays a pivotal role in shaping the minds of students and fostering a love for history. This position is integral to our educational team, contributing to a collaborative environment that encourages innovation and growth.
We're looking for a passionate Physics teacher, who has a heart for engaging with the next generation and has proven experience in teaching.

In this role, you will:
- Design and implement comprehensive lesson plans that align with the Cambridge curriculum, ensuring students grasp historical concepts and critical thinking skills.
- Facilitate engaging classroom discussions that promote student participation and a deeper understanding of historical events.
- Assess and evaluate student performance through various methods, providing constructive feedback to support their academic growth.
- Collaborate with fellow educators to develop interdisciplinary projects that connect history with other subjects, fostering a holistic learning experience.
- Utilize innovative teaching methods and technology to enhance student engagement and learning outcomes.
- Participate in school-wide initiatives and committees aimed at improving educational practices and student well-being.
- Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment that respects diverse perspectives and encourages open dialogue.
- Stay updated on the latest educational trends and historical research to continuously improve your teaching strategies.
- Engage with parents and the community to promote the importance of history education and student achievement.
- Contribute to the development of extracurricular activities related to history, such as clubs, competitions, and field trips.
To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and skills:
- A Bachelor’s degree in History, Education, or a related field; a Master’s degree is preferred.AND B.Ed in the relevant subject .
- Teaching certification relevant to the Cambridge Board curriculum would be an added advantage.
- Proven experience in teaching is required.
- Strong knowledge of historical events, theories, and methodologies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Ability to create a dynamic and interactive learning environment.
- Proficiency in using educational technology and digital resources to enhance teaching.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- A commitment to continuous professional development and lifelong learning.
- Passion for history and a desire to inspire students to appreciate the subject's relevance in today’s world.
