Upper Secondary English Teacher for CISCE School in Kolkata (Job Vacancy)

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Upper Secondary English Teacher to join our team at a CISCE school. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in English literature and language, with experience teaching students in grades 9-12.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with the CISCE curriculum
• Provide instruction in English literature, grammar, and writing skills
• Assess student progress and provide feedback to support academic growth
• Collaborate with colleagues to create a positive and supportive learning environment
• Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills
• Ability to handle senior secondary students in terms of discipline, academic progress and punctuality.
• Constant Liaison with the parents. 
• Ability to mentor other teachers in terms of subject and discipline
• Ability to engage students in co-curricular activities and help them successfully participate in interschool events.

Qualifications:

• Master's degree in English
• B.Ed.
• Experience teaching English at the upper secondary level for at least 5 years
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners
