Job Description
The Vice Principal for School plays a crucial role in supporting the Principal in the overall management and administration of the school. This individual will work closely with the Principal to ensure the smooth operation of the school, as well as the implementation of policies and procedures to promote a positive learning environment for students and staff.
Key responsibilities of the Vice Principal for School include:
- Assisting the Principal in developing and implementing school policies and procedures
- Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the school, including student discipline and staff supervision
- Collaborating with teachers and staff to support student learning and achievement
- Participating in the hiring and evaluation of staff members
- Communicating with parents and community members to foster positive relationships and support student success
- Assuming the role of Acting Principal in the absence of the Principal
The ideal candidate for this position will have a strong background in education, excellent leadership and communication skills, and a passion for supporting the academic and social-emotional growth of students. Previous experience in a leadership role within a school setting is preferred.
