What is the B. Ed Exam and who should pursue it?

In India, many people view teaching jobs as one of the most noble professions. A B.Ed. degree is required to start a career as a teacher at primary, secondary, and higher secondary schools. The National Council of Teachers Education (NCTE) requires that individuals who choose to pursue a teaching career in government schools must have a B.Ed. Course in order to be considered for government jobs. Even private schools favor hiring teachers with a B.Ed.

Types of B.Ed. Exams -

B.Ed. full time:

Those looking to get a teaching job at the secondary school level can enroll in a full-time B.Ed. program, which lasts two years (primary or secondary). The majority of candidates typically seek a full-time B.Ed. program.

Several governmental organizations and institutions both hold entrance exams for the full-time B.Ed. program. RIE CEE, DU B.Ed. Entrance Test, IPU CET, and other top B.Ed. Admission exams are available. The typical course cost is between 20,000 and 100,000 Indian rupees.

B.Ed. online:

Online B.Ed. certificate programs are offered. The online course might last anywhere from a few hours to several months. The admissions procedure for the online B.Ed. programs are open all year long and are handled on a first-come, first-served basis. There are occasionally deadlines for batch acceptance.

Several websites, including Coursera, Alison, and others, provide the B.Ed. courses. The cost of the online courses ranges from 3,000 to 17,000 Indian Rupees. Even some of the courses are provided without charge.

  4. Students must be at least 19 years old to enroll in a B.Ed. program. There is no maximum age.

  5. Insert your application number and roll number. 
  6. See the printed information on the B.Ed. Entrance Test Score Card that you downloaded.
  7. Print a copy of your B.Ed. entrance scorecard for your records.
