Electric Vehicle Systems Engineer

Job Description

We are currently seeking a highly skilled Electric Vehicle Systems Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess specialized technical expertise in electric vehicle (EV) systems, including a deep understanding of EV components, proficiency in simulation tools, and a strong foundation in electrical and mechanical engineering fundamentals.

Key Responsibilities

Deep Understanding of Electric Vehicle Systems:

Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of EV components such as battery systems, electric motors, and inverters.

Proficiency In Simulation Tools

Utilize simulation software like MATLAB/Simulink for modeling and simulating various EV components and systems.

Electrical And Mechanical Engineering Fundamentals

Apply solid engineering principles in electrical machines, power electronics, and control systems to the design and development of EVs.

Battery Management Systems Or E-Drive Systems

Possess expertise in either Battery Management Systems (BMS) including battery chemistry, BMS design, and operation, or E-Drive Systems encompassing traction inverters, electrical machine systems, switching strategy, and Field-Oriented Control (FOC) systems.

Industry Experience

• 5 to 10 years of practical experience in the electric vehicle industry, with a focus on the design, development, and implementation of electric vehicles or their components.

Additional Responsibilities

• Hands-on experience in system engineering activities such as requirement elicitation, functional analysis, high-level and low-level design of EV components or systems, and verification and validation in simulated or test bench environments.
