We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic part-time Abacus Teacher to join our team. As an Abacus Teacher, you will be responsible for teaching children the fundamental principles of the abacus, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
Responsibilities:
Teach children the principles of the abacus and help them develop strong mental math skills.
Evaluate students' progress and provide constructive feedback.
Maintain a safe and positive classroom environment.
Develop and maintain positive relationships with students and their families.
Attend meetings and training sessions as required.
Requirements:
A Bachelor's degree or higher in Education, Mathematics, or a related field.
Previous teaching experience, preferably in a classroom setting.
Knowledge of the abacus and mental math principles.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Availability to work 6 hours per week.
