Position: Academic Assistant (Research) Area: Social Sciences (1) & Physics (1) Employer: Counselling Department, Neerja Modi School Location: Mumbai (Hybrid) Type: Part-time/Full-time Roles and responsibilities: As an academic assistant (research), one is required to assist the teams in ideating and facilitating academic and research projects based on thorough search and analysis of relevant sources. Develop learning materials and resources, look into administrative needs and work on one or more independent research/ academic projects relevant to their field. • Online search and analysis of sources as recommended by leads and developing reports based on research • Ideating academic and research projects under the supervision of director • Closely working with the founding body's academic counselling department • Carrying out administrative tasks and facilitating the counselling and research program • Basic proofreading and editing skills of academic work • Willing to contribute to a developing academic environment Requirements: • Qualification: A Master's degree in any subject of social sciences OR Physics from a renowned research-oriented university. • Skills: Navigating academic sources online for research purposes; academic writing; creative and analytical thinking, English proficiency (written and verbal communication) • Experience: Prior research experience in the form of supervised thesis/research papers/ projects is a plus. • Interest in assisting school students with academic and research projects. • Location: Candidate must be residing in Mumbai, Maharashtra You're an ideal candidate if • You like conceptualizing, ideating, and building academic programs • You have a flair for academic writing, reading and editing • Interacting and guiding high-school students • Are interested in dynamic roles and responsibilities • Can wear multiple hats Remuneration: Commensurate with industry standards and the candidate's experience.
