GIM currently offers 5 PGDM programs: - the PGDM core program; PGDM Health Care Management program; PGDM Big Data Analytics program; PGDM in Management - Banking, Insurance & Financial Services; weekend part-time hybrid PGDM program for working executives. Position Overview: The role of an Academic Associate offers a unique opportunity to work closely with senior academicians, contribute to curriculum development, engage with students, and learn the intricacies of research and academics. It’s a great opportunity for those wanting to pursue a career in academics. GIM is looking for candidates with good academic credentials who would be interested in pursuing an academic career in the following specialization: • Finance Key Responsibilities: Academic Assistance to the Faculty: • Assist faculty in preparation of course outlines, setting up timetables, participate in area discussions, etc. Provide support for in-class lessons, online classes, student assessment as well as invigilation. • Offer assistance with preparation of all educational material for training and Management Development Program. • Attend academic sessions of course instructor as and when required for grading of class participation. Manage course folders and interface with various departments regularly for classroom reservation, equipment set-up, etc. Research: • Opportunity to assist faculty in ongoing research projects and get research exposure. • Collect and analyse data as required by faculty research & prepare, maintain and update website material. • Review and edit data to ensure completeness and accuracy of information and provide ready access to all relevant information and data to faculty researcher. • Write and contribute to publications. Student Management: • Supervise students working on research projects and guide them. • Take attendance of students present for a class session. • Distribute course material and collect assignments. Key Skills: • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Master’s degree in Business, Education, Marketing, Human Resources & Organization Behaviour, General Management or a related field (PhD degree is a plus and will be given preference) • Eye for detail • Ability to multi-task • Proficiency in MS-Office and tools like Excel, Word and Power-Point • Ownership driven attitude, Proactive Interested candidates may send their online applications STRICTLY IN THE FORMAT available on the website (https://gim.ac.in/careers) along with the prescribed documents to careers@gim.ac.in latest by 15th April 2024"
