Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Academic Counselor to join our team and support the academic development and well-being of our students. As an Academic Counselor, you will play a crucial role in providing personalized academic guidance, support, and counseling services to students across different grade levels.

Responsibilities:

• Provide academic counseling and guidance to students regarding course selection, study habits, academic goals, and career aspirations.
• Conduct individual and group counseling sessions to address academic, behavioral, and emotional issues faced by students.
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to identify students' strengths, weaknesses, and areas of improvement.
• Analyze academic performance data and trends to develop intervention strategies and support plans for students at risk.
• Maintain accurate records of student counseling sessions, assessments, and progress reports.
• Stay updated on the latest trends, research, and best practices in academic counseling through continuous learning and professional development.
• Facilitate workshops, seminars, and parent outreach programs on topics related to academic success and student well-being.
• Foster a positive and inclusive school culture that promotes academic excellence, personal growth, and mutual respect among students and staff members.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Counseling, Psychology, Education, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
• Proven experience working as an academic counselor or similar role in an educational setting.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and listening skills.
• Strong understanding of child development, learning styles, and academic assessment techniques.
• Ability to work collaboratively with students, parents, teachers, and administrators.
• Proficiency in using educational technology and online resources for academic counseling purposes.
