The Academic Counsellor is responsible for providing academic guidance and support to students. The Counsellor will work with students and help students to achieve their academic goals. The Counsellor will also provide advice and guidance on academic policies and procedures, and will work with staff to ensure that students are receiving the best possible academic experience.
Responsibilities:
- Provide academic guidance and support to students.
- Provide resources and support to students.
- Provide advice and guidance on academic policies and procedures..
- Maintain accurate records of student progress.
- Assist with the development of academic programs and initiatives.
- Participate in student recruitment and retention activities.
- Participate in professional development activities.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Counseling, or related field.
- Experience working in an academic setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
