Academic Counselor (Job Vacancy)

• Meet with students individually or in groups to assess their academic needs, goals, and interests. • Assist students in developing personalized academic plans and selecting appropriate courses. • Provide information about degree requirements, course prerequisites, and academic policies. • Help students explore and evaluate potential majors, minors, and career paths. • Monitor students' progress and academic performance, identifying areas where intervention or additional support may be needed. • Offer guidance on study skills, time management, and effective learning strategies. • Collaborate with faculty and staff to coordinate resources, referrals, and support services for students. • Stay informed about program and curriculum changes, new course offerings, and academic policies to provide accurate and up-to-date information to students. • Participate in orientation programs, workshops, and informational sessions for students and parents. • Maintain accurate and confidential student records.
