We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Academic Director to oversee the educational and academic operations of K-12 schools across CBSE, ICSE, IB and Cambridge. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education, exceptional leadership skills, and a vision to cultivate an environment that fosters academic excellence and holistic development in young learners.
Key Responsibilities:
• Educational Leadership: Lead the development and implementation of innovative educational strategies tailored for the formative years. Ensure the curriculum is engaging, inclusive, and aligned with the latest educational standards.
• Curriculum Oversight: Oversee the development, evaluation, and continuous improvement of the curriculum across all grades to ensure it meets the highest academic standards and aligns with current educational trends and requirements.
• Faculty Management: Recruit, train, and mentor faculty members. Conduct performance reviews and foster a collaborative, supportive teaching environment.
• Academic Strategy: Develop and implement innovative academic strategies that promote excellence and meet the diverse needs of our students.
• Student Achievement: Monitor student progress and implement initiatives to enhance student academic performance and overall well-being
• Staff Development: Recruit, mentor, and evaluate teachers and administrative staff. Promote professional development opportunities to enhance teaching efficacy and staff performance.
• Community Engagement: Strengthen relationships with parents, guardians, and the wider community. Be an ambassador for the schools, promoting our values and achievements.
• Quality Assurance: Monitor and evaluate the educational outcomes and school environment. Implement continuous improvement strategies to maintain high standards of education and care.
Qualifications:
• Master’s Degree in Education or a related field, with a specialization in Early Childhood Education preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a leadership role within an educational setting.
• Proven track record in improving school performance and student achievement.
• Strong understanding of the developmental, curricular, and regulatory aspects of early childhood education.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Ability to lead and inspire a team towards achieving educational excellence.
