Job Title - Accountant Experience: 3 - 5 years Job Location - Bangalore Job Description: • Verify, allocate, post and reconcile accounts payable and receivables in the internal systems. • Preparation of the Statutory Returns for the Institute: PF / ESI / TDS Contractual & Professionals / P. Tax /GST (Input & Output) • Monthly Payrolls Management for all employees & outsourced staff • Review and recommend modifications to existing accounting systems and procedures • Preparation of Bank Reconciliation Statement • Daily/weekly voucher entry into the system (Bank / Cash / Journal) by Friday of every week for the entire week and regular reporting to Management with the Trial Balance. • Preparation of Cash Flow Statements & Budget / Actual Expenses Analysis • Preparation of Financial Statements for Management information as required from time to time including incorporation of branches accounts and Finalization of Accounts • Prepare financial statements and prepare/produce per annum financial budget according to schedule • Assist with tax audits and tax returns • Direct internal and external audits to ensure compliance • Manage tax compliance, reporting, and filing works • Act as the key point of contact and support for our local and regional taxation matters. • Liaise with tax authorities and provide tax audit support for the Institute • Review current and deferred tax provision • Facilitate management to streamline transactions and accounting processes between HO & branches • Ensure adequate controls are in place, i.e. policies, procedures & recommend to seniors accordingly • Review of legal contracts / Liaise with legal representation on Institutes pending issues/settlements, if any Desired Candidate Profile • Proven experience post qualification of 3+ years as Accountant/ Chief Accountant/Financial Controller • Hands-on experience with various accounting software packages/ERP/Tally advanced versions • Graduation degree in Accounting, Finance or relevant • Advanced MS Excel skills Industry Type: Hospitality/ Education Functional Area: Finance & Accounting Employment Type: Full Time, Permanent Role Category: Accounting & Taxation
