Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role in Nagpur for a Executive/Sr. Executive- Accounts. The incumbent will be responsible for:
- Financial Record Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger entries, and bank reconciliations.
- Accounts Payable and Receivable: Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions accurately and timely. Monitor aging reports and follow up on overdue invoices.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements. Analyze financial data and provide insights to management to support decision-making.
- Tax Compliance: Ensure compliance with local, state, central tax regulations. Prepare and file tax returns accurately and on time. Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations.
- Audit Support: Coordinate with external auditors during annual audits. Provide necessary documentation and explanations to support audit procedures.
- Financial Analysis: Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and risks. Make recommendations for process improvements and cost-saving initiatives.
- Internal Controls: Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with other departments, such as operations and sales, to gather financial data and support cross-functional initiatives.
- Ad Hoc Projects: Assist with special projects and initiatives as assigned by the finance manager or senior leadership.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in accounting or finance roles.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, and Tally.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of tax regulations and compliance requirements.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
