Job Description: Cuemath is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our finance team as a Lead - Accounts Payable. As the Lead - Accounts Payable, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of the accounts payable process, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with company policies and procedures. You will play a key role in maintaining vendor relationships, streamlining processes, and contributing to the overall financial health of the organization. **Key Responsibilities:** • Review, validation & posting of Vendor invoices, preparing and processing weekly/daily vendor payments • Ensuring timely vendor payouts & maintaining internal trackers • Accounting and clearing of vendor invoices, tracking and follow-up for internal approvals, invoice validation and periodic ledger reconciliations • Banking operations – Uploading bank payments, Daily/Weekly/Monthly BRS and follow-up actions • Handling and coordinating with junior A/P team members 3-4 members team and ensuring accounting hygiene and process compliance • GST and TDS reconciliations and timely follow-up with vendors • Experience in handling International Vendor payouts and related compliance • Managing stakeholders - Internal (Business/user functions) and External (Vendor/Auditors) • Supporting Jr. Controller and Sr. Controller in financials and monthly books closure • MS office tools and SAP ByD experience • Ownership attribute, ability to prioritise and handle deliverables on time **Qualifications:** • - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. • - Minimum of 3-4 years of experience in accounts payable or related finance role. • - Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices. • - Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP) and Microsoft Excel. • - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. • - Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. • - Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. • - Prior experience in the education or technology industry is a plus.
