Qualification: Bachelor's or Masters Degree, preferably BBA
Required Experience:
- BBA with overall 8 -10 years of experience of which 2-3 years in supervisory position
- Proven experience in administrative roles, preferably in educational institute
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in computer applications, including MS Office suite and database management.
- Ability to make complex operational decisions.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
- Knowledge of university policies and procedures is a plus.
Responsibilities:
- The Administrative Officer will work closely with the Director and support the faculty, researchers, staff, and other stakeholders to maintain a smooth and organized work environment.
- Supervise daily operations of the office, managing staff, ensuring efficient workflow, and maintenance of office facilities including safety, and security.
- Develop organizational policies and procedures in compliance with relevant regulations.
- Analyze data, preparing reports, and presenting findings to support decision-making processes.
- Prepare, review, and track departmental budget.
- Handle recruitment processes, maintain employee records ensuring accuracy and confidentiality, administering employee benefits, and handling employee inquiries.
- Coordinate with internal/ external functions/departments such as Project Office / Infrastructure / Security / IT etc to deliver on timelines and managing staff.
- Liaising with Vendors and processing invoices in coordination with Procurement and Finance team.
- Assist in organizing conferences and other events hosted by the institute.
- Addressing administrative issues and making decisions in a timely and effective manner.
