Job Description

Job Title: Admission Counselor Location: Dehradun, Uttarakhand, India Position Summary: We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Admission Counselor to join our Client a Upcoming University in Dehradun. The Admission Counselor will play a crucial role in recruiting prospective students, providing guidance throughout the admissions process, and assisting in achieving the university's enrolment goals. The ideal candidate should possess excellent communication skills, a passion for higher education, and the ability to connect with diverse groups of individuals. Key Responsibilities: • as the primary point of contact for prospective students and their families, offering guidance and support throughout the admissions process. • informative and engaging campus tours, highlighting the university's facilities, academic programs, and extracurricular opportunities. • with various departments to coordinate recruitment events, including open houses, information sessions, and college fairs, both on and off-campus. • and maintain relationships with high school counselors, community organizations, and other key stakeholders to promote the university and attract prospective students. • various communication channels, including phone calls, emails, social media, and virtual platforms, to engage with prospective students and nurture leads. • applications and provide personalized assistance to applicants regarding admission requirements, application procedures, and financial aid options. • in the development of recruitment materials, such as brochures, presentations, and digital content, to effectively showcase the university to prospective students. • informed about industry trends, competitor offerings, and changes in admission requirements to ensure a competitive advantage in recruiting efforts. • accurate records of interactions with prospective students and track recruitment activities using the university's CRM system. • in training sessions, workshops, and professional development opportunities to enhance counseling skills and stay updated on best practices in admissions. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Education, Counseling, Marketing, or related discipline). Master's degree preferred. • experience in admissions, recruitment, student services, or related fields is highly desirable. • interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and establish trust with diverse populations. • communication skills, both verbal and written, with proficiency in English and Hindi. Knowledge of additional languages is a plus. • ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. • with CRM systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and digital communication tools. • for higher education and a commitment to promoting the university's mission and values. • to work evenings and weekends as needed to accommodate recruitment events and student inquiries.
