Job Title: Admission Counsellor
Location: Pune Institute of Business Management, Pune, Maharashtra, India
CTC - up to 3 Lakhs
Job Summary: As an Admission Counsellor at Pune Institute of Business Management, you will play a crucial role in attracting, advising, and enrolling prospective students for various programs offered by the institute. You will be responsible for guiding prospective students through the admission process, providing them with accurate information about the institute's programs, assisting them in understanding the admission requirements, and addressing any concerns or queries they may have. The ideal candidate should possess excellent communication skills, a customer-centric approach, and the ability to work effectively in a dynamic and target-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Student Outreach and Engagement:
• Conduct outreach activities to attract prospective students through various channels such as social media, emails, phone calls, and in-person interactions.
• Engage with potential students to understand their educational background, interests, and career goals.
• Provide detailed information about the institute's programs, admission procedures, eligibility criteria, and fee structure.
• Admission Counselling:
• Guide prospective students through the admission process from inquiry to enrollment.
• Conduct one-on-one counselling sessions with students to assess their suitability for different programs.
• Address inquiries and concerns related to admissions, academics, campus life, and career prospects.
• Application Management:
• Assist students in completing the application forms accurately and submit necessary documents.
• Track and follow up on submitted applications to ensure timely processing.
• Coordinate with the admissions team to review applications and make admission decisions.
• Relationship Management:
• Build and maintain positive relationships with prospective students, parents, educational consultants, and other stakeholders.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional materials and campaigns to enhance the institute's visibility and attract more applicants.
• Data Management and Reporting:
• Maintain accurate records of student interactions, inquiries, and admissions-related activities using the institute's CRM system.
• Generate reports on admission trends, conversion rates, and other relevant metrics to assess performance and identify areas for improvement.
Qualifications and Skills:
• Bachelor's degree in any discipline. A degree in Education, Counseling, Marketing, or Business Administration is preferred.
• Proven experience in admissions counseling, student recruitment, or related fields, preferably in the education sector.
• Excellent communication skills with fluency in English and proficiency in other regional languages is desirable.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and credibility with diverse audiences.
• Customer-centric approach with a focus on providing exceptional service to students and parents.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and work effectively under pressure to meet deadlines.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications and experience with CRM software is an advantage.
