Experience Requirement
At least 3 years of experience in academic counselling in Data Science.
Roles and Responsibilities:
1. Admissions and Enrollment Management
- Achieve enrollment objectives by effectively converting prospective students into confirmed admissions through personalized counseling and follow-up.
- Develop a deep understanding of IvyPro's programs to match prospects with suitable courses that meet their career aspirations.
2. Coordination and Collaboration
- Liaise with the central team to stay updated on upcoming batches, promotions, and other activities. Ensure this information is accurately communicated to prospective students.
- Work closely with academic and marketing departments to coordinate open houses, webinars, and information sessions for prospective students.
3. Prospect Engagement
- Maintain regular and proactive communication with prospects via phone calls, emails, and personal meetings to understand their educational needs and preferences.
- Utilize CRM tools to track interactions with prospects, ensuring all communications are logged and followed up in a timely manner.
4. Financial Transactions and Data Management
- Oversee the collection of course fees, issuance of receipts, and management of financial records pertaining to new admissions.
- Ensure accurate and timely entry of student registration information and payment details into the ERP system. Regularly audit data for accuracy and completeness.
5. Admission Process Support
- Provide comprehensive support to candidates during the admission process, including assistance with form filling, document submission, and answering any queries related to the admission procedure.
- Offer guidance on financial aid options, scholarships, and payment plans available to students.
6. Information and Counseling
- Inform prospective students and their parents about the admission procedures, course offerings, and student services through various communication channels.
7. System and Reporting Compliance
- Ensure diligent completion of all ERP entries related to student admissions, course enrollments, and financial transactions by the end of each day.
- Generate reports from the ERP system as required for analysis and decision-making by the management team.
8. Continuous Improvement
- Gather feedback from students and faculty to continually refine the counseling and admissions process.
- Stay informed about trends in education and career counseling to offer the most current advice and support to students.
