The Advanced Physical Education Teacher will be responsible for teaching physical education classes to students in grades 6-12. The teacher will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive physical education program that meets the needs of all students. The teacher will also be responsible for providing instruction in a variety of physical activities, including team sports, individual sports, and fitness activities. The teacher will also be responsible for assessing student progress and providing feedback to students and parents. The teacher will also be responsible for maintaining a safe and positive learning environment.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive physical education program that meets the needs of all students.
- Provide instruction in a variety of physical activities, including team sports, individual sports, and fitness activities.
- Assess student progress and provide feedback to students and parents.
- Maintain a safe and positive learning environment.
- Ensure that all students are participating in physical activities in a safe and appropriate manner.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress.
- Collaborate with other teachers and administrators to ensure that the physical education program is meeting the needs of all students.
- Participate in professional development activities to stay current on best practices in physical education.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education or related field.
- Valid teaching license in Physical Education.
- At least 3 years of teaching experience in Physical Education.
- Knowledge of current trends and best practices in physical education.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to motivate and engage students in physical activities.
