SGT University is in search of talented Faculty Members with good research orientation for its campus. Job Description:

We are looking for Assistant Professor of English in SGT college of Pharmacy. The Assistant professor's responsibilities include, but are not limited to, teaching a requisite number of graduate & post graduate classes, assisting with the development of course material, supervising postgraduate students, regularly publishing journal articles, serving on committees, attending conferences, writing proposals for grants, delivering presentations, and handling other administrative duties. To be successful as a assistant professor, you should be able to balance teaching and other responsibilities. Outstanding Assistant professor are able to conduct independent research, accurately, allocate resources, and provide subject-related and management advice to the faculty.

High quality teaching, faculty research, and creative and professional activities. - Adding to academic planning and innovative curricular and scholarly development. -Involving in research grants, expanded advancement effort, and public/private partnerships. - Enhancing the Faculty profile, resource streams, and engagement with alumni and the community. - Supporting the University's commitment to diversity and fostering, academic, and non-academic activities to increase the visibility and to enhance University's efforts in the community.

Desired Experience:

An earned Doctorate; a record of academic achievement in the discipline meriting appointment as a tenured full time assistant professor for English and Soft skills ; University teaching experience complemented by a superior research and scholarly record. A record of proven leadership and administrative experience related to the work or related multidisciplinary programs; understanding of the instructional, research, and creative needs of undergraduate and graduate programs.

Minimum Qualification:

Ph.D. or Master's with UGC NET in the relevant field along with 5 years of total work experience in academic, out of which at least 2-3 years in similar capacity. Candidates with good research track record in ABDC/ SCOPUS/ WOS/SCI will be preferred, and with at least 5 research papers & publications.
