Job Description

Job Title Aptitude Skills Trainer

Position Reports to Director, Department of Common Core Curriculum

Job Overview

Plan and conduct regular training programs in the following areas relating to aptitude skill development, which include the following segments.

a. Quantitative Aptitude

b. Logical Reasoning (and related topics)

Conduct periodic and final assessments, evaluate and grade students on a continuing and end semester basis.

Qualification Essential:

 A bachelor’s degree in engineering (any branch) from a reputed college / university with 8+ CGPA or M.Sc. (Mathematics – passed in First Division) [Engineering graduates preferred]

Nice to have:

 Postgraduate in Management

 Additional certifications in data analysis / data science

 Formally certified by any organization of repute

Experience (3-4 years) Essential:

Minimum of 3-4 years of experience, of which experience as a free-lancer / employee with a training and development / consultancy organization for 2-3 years.

1. Trained engineering and non-engineering students at the undergraduate / post graduate levels in reputed colleges / universities to prepare them for placement drives and various aptitude tests like eLitmus, AMCAT, CoCubes, etc.

2. Work experience of 1-2 years in any of the training consulting companies like T.I.M.E, F.A.C.E, Bizotic, Seventh Sense etc.

3. Excellent analytical, number crunching and problem solving skills.

4. Experience in conducting / coordinating training for multiple batches at a time.

5. Developed training content in line with the changing patterns of aptitude tests of leading corporates.

6. Ability to put together comprehensive study material in a graded manner for the students to improve their level of proficiency.

7. Trained students on short cuts, and suggested tips to improve their speed in solving problems.

8. Be able to look at a syllabus and weed out / add essential elements for a target audience.

9. Familiarity with popular web sites from where useful training material could be accessed.

a. Conducted regular practice tests for students to monitor their progress.

b. Analyzed students’ performance to determine their areas of strengths and weaknesses and conducted bridge programs and boot camp training specific to an audience with a clear objective to achieve a defined learning outcome.

Received commendation and awards for performance in previous assignment(s).

Attributes Essential:

a. Comfortable working with a team of trainers, to share and care, with the right attitude.

b. Be a good mentor to students, take individual interest and help the students in their weak areas.
