Graduate / Post- graduate with at least 5-7 years of work experience in student affairs/student clubs and events/NSS/other student bodies in UG & PG colleges. Should have relevant experience in managing student clubs & student governance.
Relevant Bachelors/Masters would be graduates in fields like Psychology, Student administration, Management, Liberal arts, Humanities, or other courses with specializations in Psychology, student development, higher education leadership, event management, etc.
Criteria for experience can be relaxed if quality of experience is good and organization where experience is gained is relevant.
Requirements:
Experience creating and administering student programs.
Experience with advisory and/or pastoral care programs.
Experience with residential life programs.
Experience of participating in teams and/or leading teams composed of individuals from diverse ethnic, cultural, and national backgrounds.
Clear track record of success in launching new initiatives, including long-term planning and project management.
Experience using data to drive student-involved program development
Excellent written & spoken English

Roles and Responsibilities
Lead the implementation of Student Life's strategic objectives and Initiatives.
Support with the development and implementation of Student Life policies, procedures and processes and monitor compliance of subordinates.
Manage the implementation of student orientation programmes within the campus with the aim to familiarize new students with the campus and enable students, faculty and staff to meet.
Manage the communication with and to students including, but not limited to, student handbooks, policy guidelines, rules and regulations, etc.
Monitor the implementation of student programmes and events at the community level including volunteering activities, sports events, entertainment events, receptions, etc.
Coordinate special events at the campus level including celebrations for days of national importance, graduation ceremonies, etc.
Manage the implementation of student counseling guidelines and development programmes to help students in their overall experience.
Support students with major counseling issues as and when needed.
Provide support and guidance to the Student Council and other student groups/clubs as and when needed.
Oversee the effective and efficient collaboration between Student Life and Academics & Central Services to provide data in a timely and accurate manner for reporting purposes.
Monitor the effective and efficient transportation arrangement of commuting students and/or for field trips related to the campus.
Support with the development and analysis of system-wide student surveys to identify room for improvement.
