The University has baccalaureate concentrations, postgraduate offerings, doctoral degree programs, and several professional certificate programs. · Job Title: Assistant Director – Corporate Relations and Placements · Job Location: Bengaluru, India · Educational Credentials: Any undergraduate or postgraduate degree or equivalent. · Work Experience:10 years of prior relevant experience. · Language Preferences: English, Hindi, and any other regional languages. · Notice Period: Candidates who can join immediately will be given preference. · Salary: Best in the industry The Assistant Director of Corporate Relations and Placements is responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with corporate partners to facilitate internship and job placements for students and alumni. This role involves collaborating with various academic departments and industry partners to identify internship and employment opportunities that align with students' career goals and academic backgrounds. Additionally, the Assistant Director will provide career counseling and guidance to students, helping them navigate the job search process and develop essential skills for professional success. Roles & Responsibilities: · Cultivate and maintain relationships with corporate partners, including corporations, non-profits, and government agencies. · Identify new partnership opportunities to expand the network of organizations offering internships and employment opportunities to students and alumni. · Coordinate internship and job placement efforts for students and alumni. · Facilitate career workshops and seminars on topics such as job search strategies, networking, and professional development. · Maintain current knowledge of industry trends, job market demands, and employer expectations to better advise students. · Develop and deliver workshops and presentations to student groups on career-related topics. · Maintain accurate records of student placements, including internships, full-time employment, and graduate school acceptances. · Generate reports on placement outcomes and trends to assess the effectiveness of career services programs. · Utilize data to identify areas for improvement and make recommendations for enhancing placement efforts. · Collaborate with academic departments to integrate career development activities into the curriculum. · Work closely with faculty to identify internship opportunities relevant to students' academic interests. · Represent the university at industry conferences, employer meetings, and networking events to promote placement services and build partnerships. Skills Required: · Bachelor's degree required, Master's degree preferred, in counseling, higher education administration, business administration, or a related field. · Previous experience in career services, corporate relations preferred. · Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with students, faculty, employers, and alumni. · Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. · Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team. · Knowledge of career development theories, job search strategies, and employment trends. · Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion in supporting students from diverse backgrounds.
