Job Post : Assistant Director/Senior Manager-CHRD (Engineering)
Qualification: MTech/ PhD preferable from reputed institutes (IIT, NIT etc)
Experience: Minimum 5 years of teaching experience.
Skills & Knowledge:
- Excellent Communication Skills
- Good Domain knowledge of Engineering
- Presentation Skills to deliver sessions to the teaching staff
- Instructional Designing for developing required modules of training
- Good knowledge about Teaching pedagogy, COPO, ICTs, latest guidelines and any other methodologies in the field of teaching.
- Should be able to plan, deign, develop, deliver and evaluate sessions to improve the overall teaching quality and experience at PU
Responsibilities:
- Identify the training needs of teaching staff and provide the necessary trainings, so that the skill of the teaching staff can be enhanced periodically.
- Conduct Induction Programme to the newly recruited teachers within stipulated period
- Conduct Faculty Development programs covering all teachers
- Assessing training needs, prepare appropriate modules for training for different groups of staff based on the training need assessment
- For teaching staff training based on setting suitable question papers, achieving the Bloom’s Taxonomy and CO/PO matrix, effective teaching strategies/pedagogical approaches etc
- Developing the content and modules for the different programs
- Keeping the training MIS updated and measuring the training impact.
