Currently Hiring for Assistant Director- Media & Creatives for MIT World Peace University for Kothrud, Pune Location.
2. Job Purpose
•
To oversee & organise the Media Dept.
3. Key Accountability
Strategic
•
Understanding the purpose of the event. According to the requirement of the Event, all publicity material to be designed.
•
Responsible for quality and timely delivery of all creatives
Operational
•
As per the planning the publicity material to be designed and to be executed.
•
Come up with suggestions to enhance the event’s success.
• Manage the whole process from the pre-event to post-event
• Prepare the action plan, Monitor progress and execution of each task that has to do with the event
• Should have a clear understanding of what the event. The publicity material of media need to be finalized according to the target audience.
• Serves as a link between the event management team and EP Office
• Develop general event management policies to make smoother operations/executions.
• Supervision of the production process of an event/task.
•
Always be in touch with social media team.
•
Approve all aspects well in advance, before the day of the event/task.
Research & Development
Fostering research and development in workflow.
Financial and Budget
•
Supervise all staff and their output pre / during / post event/task
•
Coordinate all operational teams.
Collaborations
•
For timely completion of the work, should be well connected with vendors and suppliers.
Academic
•
Reviewing and advising required updation of event plan and upskilling as required
•
Smooth facilitation of all Events, Conferences, Workshop, Symposium, Seminars of the University
External Representation
•
Represent MIT WPU on various professional bodies of repute which is value adding building relationships with the community, government agencies, and society at large and with ultimate objective of building MIT WPU brand

Substantial leadership and management experience
•
Able to provide effective and inspiring leadership by being actively involved to motivate the team. Deep knowledge of all the publicity media/methods for printing or executing.
External relations and corporate engagement
•
Good relations with local/outside Advertising agencies or design studios.

Minimum Qualification & Experience
•
Post Graduate/MBA from Premier Institutions with 5+ years of experience
•
Experience with an advertising agency will be an additional advantage.

•
High level of sophistication and maturity in social and professional settings
•
Ability to effectively manage and evaluate the day-to-day work, assign responsibilities; oversee the assignments to ensure the work is done accurately and timely; and provide personal development.
•
Ability to effectively establish and maintain cooperative working relationships for multiple task.
•
Ability to manage multiple projects; flexible and comfortable in a fast-paced environment
•
Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite must
