Position - Assistant Professor/HOD - School of Management
First class Master’s Degree in Management subject or in relevant discipline
OR Minimum 55% Marks at Master’s Degree in MBA (Marketing/ General Management)
NET qualification or equivalent as per the UGC guidelines in relevant disciplines.
Ph.D. from a reputed Institute / University
Minimum 8 - 10 years of Teaching and Industry Experience
Job Description
- PUBLICATIONS (BOOK/PAPER/ANY OTHER) in reputed journals.
- Responsibility for Teaching the Students.
- Responsibility and accountability for setting and advancing the academic strategy of the Department in line with Faculty and University strategic plans and direction.
- Active membership of and contribution to the Faculty Development Program and the overall leadership and management of the Faculty.
- Development and sustainment of appropriate structures for management, consultation, decision-making, and communication with faculties and students.
- Promotion and representation of the college both internally and externally
- Provision of the best possible student experience through, the fulfillment of the College responsibilities concerning students in respect of their admission, internship, placement, progress and examination.
- Review and develop new programs in order to attract new students and markets.
- The availability of pastoral assistance, and adherence to the regulations and procedures of Faculties and of the Senate
- Creating a dynamic and forward-looking research environment for both staff and students.
- Ensuring that the college HR policies and procedures are implemented.
- Ensuring that staff performance is managed appropriately and that fair workload allocation processes are in place.
- Ensuring all staff have access to the necessary support to enable them to contribute fully and develop their skills and experience.
- Engendering and fostering a culture of excellence, cooperation, and respect both within and beyond the department.
- Should be open to accepting administrative responsibilities as and when required or decided by the management.
