We are seeking a dynamic and committed Assistant Professor of Entrepreneurship who will contribute to both our academic and practical offerings in the field of entrepreneurship. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in delivering innovative teaching and engaging in academic administration. They should bring a blend of academic rigor and real-world experience, ideally with a background in launching or managing startups, and familiarity with new-age entrepreneurial tools and technologies. Key Responsibilities:• Teaching and Learning: Deliver engaging, up-to-date courses in entrepreneurship across various levels, ensuring high standards of learning. Develop curriculum and materials using contemporary tools and approaches. • Research and Scholarship: Conduct research in the field of entrepreneurship with potential real-world application. Publish findings in peer-reviewed journals and present at conferences. • Academic Administration: Assist in the administration of the department's academic programs. Participate in the development and implementation of strategic initiatives. • Mentoring: Provide guidance and mentorship to students on academic and entrepreneurial ventures. • Industry Engagement: Foster relationships with the entrepreneurial community to enhance student learning and potential job placements. Keep abreast of trends and innovations in the field. • Service to University: Participate in university service including committees, course reviews, and special initiatives aimed at improving the academic environment. • Required Qualifications:• PhD in Entrepreneurship, Business Administration, or a closely related field. • Demonstrated experience in teaching at the university level. • A track record of research in entrepreneurship or related areas. • Proven experience in the startup ecosystem or as an entrepreneur. Preferred Qualifications:• Experience with digital and new-age tools for business analytics and entrepreneurship. • Strong network within the entrepreneurial community. • Experience in academic program development and leadership Skills:• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. • Strong organisational and management skills. • Ability to innovate and use creative teaching methods. • High level of proficiency in English.
