Position Title: Faculty - General Management Subjects
Location: Pune Institute of Business Management (PIBM), Pune, India
Job Summary: PIBM is seeking dynamic and dedicated individuals to join its faculty team in the capacity of Faculty for General Management subjects, with a focus on Corporate Governance, Enterprise Performance Management, and Business Government and Society. The ideal candidates will possess a strong academic background, industry experience, and a passion for teaching and research in these areas.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver curriculum for courses in Corporate Governance, Enterprise Performance Management, and Business Government and Society at undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
- Design instructional materials, including syllabi, lesson plans, and assessments, to ensure effective learning outcomes.
- Conduct lectures, seminars, and workshops using a variety of instructional methods to engage students and facilitate learning.
- Mentor and guide students in their academic and professional development, providing support and encouragement as needed.
- Stay abreast of developments in the fields of Corporate Governance, Enterprise Performance Management, and Business Government and Society through continuous research and professional development activities.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the quality of teaching and learning within the department and across the institution.
- Participate in academic and administrative activities, including curriculum development, assessment, and accreditation processes.
- Contribute to the advancement of knowledge through scholarly research, publication, and participation in academic conferences and seminars.
- Engage with industry partners to develop and deliver applied learning experiences, such as internships, projects, and guest lectures.
- Perform any other duties as assigned by the Head of Department or higher authorities.
Qualifications:
- A Ph.D. or equivalent terminal degree in Management or a related field from a recognized institution.
- Prior teaching experience at the undergraduate or postgraduate level, preferably in subjects related to Corporate Governance, Enterprise Performance Management, or Business Government and Society.
- Strong research record demonstrated by publications in peer-reviewed journals or conference proceedings.
- Industry experience and professional certifications in relevant areas will be an added advantage.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with students, colleagues, and industry partners.
