Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Assistant Professor in UI - School of Design at Ajeenkya DY Patil University located in Pune. The Assistant Professor will be responsible for teaching UI and UX design courses, mentoring students, developing curriculum, and conducting research in the field of design. The Assistant Professor will also actively participate in university service and contribute to the overall academic environment.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or higher in UI/UX Design, Graphic Design, Interaction Design, or a related field
• Experience in UI and UX design principles, tools, and techniques
• Strong knowledge of design software such as Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, and InVision
• Demonstrated expertise in user-centered design methodologies, usability testing, and design thinking
• Ability to teach and mentor students effectively
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Experience in conducting research and publishing in the field of design is preferred
• Passion for continuous learning and staying up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in UI/UX design
