Qualifications:
• M.Sc./Ph.D. in Computer Science or a closely related field from an accredited institution.
• Demonstrated expertise in one or more areas of computer science.
• Minimum 2 years of teaching experience at the undergraduate or graduate level, with a commitment to excellence in teaching and student mentorship.
• Ability to effectively communicate complex concepts in computer science to diverse audiences.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, students, and external stakeholders.
• Commitment to fostering diversity, equity, and inclusion in academia and promoting a supportive and inclusive learning environment for all students.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and deliver undergraduate and graduate courses in computer science, including but not limited to programming languages, algorithms, data structures, computer architecture, Data Science, artificial intelligence, machine learning, and cybersecurity.
• Utilize effective teaching methodologies to engage students and promote active learning.
• Contribute to the academic community through service activities, including participation in departmental committees, curriculum development, student advising, and outreach efforts.
• Stay abreast of recent developments and trends in computer science.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with curriculum development and assessment.
• Demonstrated success in securing external research funding.
• Experience mentoring undergraduate and graduate students in research projects.
• Experience with industry collaborations or technology transfer activities.
