Job Description

Job Title: Assistant Registrar / Deputy Registrar - Academics Responsibilities: • Maintain compliance with AICTE, IKG-PTU, NAAC rules & regulations, comprehensive knowledge of NIRF and AISHE Portal, actively participating in the submission of required data and reports. • Proficiently handle data using Excel and Google Sheets for streamlined record-keeping and reporting purposes. • Stay abreast of various Government scholarship schemes, providing expertise in their implementation and assisting eligible students in the application process. • Efficiently manage and maintain academic records, ensuring accuracy. • Facilitate day-to-day communication with University & Government authorities to ensure smooth academic operations and resolve any issues promptly. • Collaborate with academic departments to coordinate and execute academic programs and events. • Ensure compliance with academic policies and regulations, providing guidance to faculty and staff when necessary. • Streamline and enhance academic processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness. • Conduct regular audits of academic records to maintain data integrity and quality. • Provide leadership and support in the implementation of academic initiatives aimed at enhancing the overall educational experience. Qualifications and Skills: • Master's / Ph.D. degree in a relevant field. • Strong proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets. • in-depth knowledge of AICTE, IKG-PTU, NAAC rules & regulations, understanding of NIRF and AISHE Portal requirements. • Familiarity with various Government scholarship schemes. • Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with University & Government authorities with proven organizational and multitasking abilities. • Detail-oriented with a commitment to maintaining high standards of data accuracy. • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team. • Previous experience in a similar role is mandatory. Note:- Punjab Local candidates only due to IKG-PTU Norms knowledge.
