The Organization: Marketing Operations (MO)

The Marketing Operations (MO) team is an operational arm of Chegg Marketing and is critical to its success. The team is involved in acquiring customers through multiple marketing channels like organic search, paid search, email, paid social, affiliate, and display. Going beyond customer acquisition, MO participates in analysing students' behavioural trends to enable better business outcomes. The team also monitors and assesses the industry landscape to generate actionable insights.

The Role: Associate - Paid Social

Execution of paid media campaigns on ad serving systems such as Facebook/ Instagram. Inclusive of set up, schedule management, creative, campaign optimizations, budget allocations and reporting on performance.

The ideal candidate should be excited to join our team’s mission to aid in the strategic growth of Chegg by building the capability of developing processes that increase capacity by making ongoing marketing activities more efficient, scalable, & predictable.

Responsibilities

Launching & managing campaigns on Facebook & Instagram using ads manager
Building campaigns: ads, targeting, budgets, following naming conventions, etc.
Executing and overseeing basic tests: creative, LPs, audiences, conversion events.
Daily monitoring and reporting of performance.
Managing monthly channel pacing to ensure we hit budget/CPA targets.
Raising concerns and opportunities whenever required
Executing and overseeing basic tests: creative, LPs, audiences, conversion events.
Proactively identify issues leading up to a launch and during a live campaign that would prevent hitting KPI's and performance benchmarks.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in any domain with 2+ years of experience in executing social campaigns on Facebook/Instagram, Snapchat and Reddit.
Experience in managing campaign pacing and performance, providing internal and client teams with insights or optimization recommendations.
Experience pulling data and generating intermediate excel reports.
High attention to detail, basic analytical skills, and the ability to make data-driven decisions.
Problem solving mentality, always looking for more efficient ways to improve process.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Self-motivated; independent, organized, and proactive; highly responsive, flexible, and adaptable when working across multiple channels.

Good To Have

Experience on other buying platforms (Snapchat, Twitter).
Basic knowledge about Smartly.IO
Working knowledge on Tableau, Data Studio or any other reporting tool.
