Associate Manager, Partnerships and Outreach in Pune (Job Vacancy)

The quality of school education available to students from low-income communities across India is abysmal. Their chances of getting admitted to a college or building a career are much lower than their high-income peers, condemning them to a life without voice or choice. iTeach was born to declare war on this status quo and create a level playing field for ALL children. We do this in Pune and Navi Mumbai by co-creating contextual school models with Municipal Corporations.

We run 10 free and high-impact secondary schools and a college-to-career program for the most disadvantaged students. In 2024, with a staff of 250 members across 10 schools, we will serve 3000 students and 2000 alumni - giving students a fighting chance at college, career, and citizenship. We aim to grow to 30 schools and 10,000 students over the next five years.

The Associate Manager, Recruitment Partnerships and Outreach plays a pivotal role in branding iTeach as the best place to work in education and attracting high-quality talent. This will be done through building win-win partnerships with recruitment pools like colleges or academic institutions and targeted social media outreach to reach the right audience. This role requires a creative, relationship-driven individual who can inspire and influence people to join iTeach.

I. Building Win-Win Partnerships (40%)

• Identify colleges and organizations and develop an outreach strategy to recruit from them in Pune and Mumbai.
• Cultivate strong relationships with Placement Coordinators, Principals, College administrators, and other relevant stakeholders.
• Design contextual and innovative programs to immerse the students into iTeach’s work while they are in college (volunteering, events, campus ambassador programs, etc.)
• Design and execute recruitment campaigns for internships and full-time placements.

II. Outreach (40%)

• Co-design the strategy to increase iTeach’s visibility among high-potential educators and leaders in the education reform space.
• Leverage social media platforms to accelerate our reach to a broader audience.
• Collaborate with the communications team to shape our online presence.
• Design early immersion programs with high-potential candidates to increase selectivity.

III. Data and Operations (20%)

• Analyze people hiring and onboarding trends across the sector to benchmark internally.
• Create and Manage high-quality recruitment collaterals.

Experience and Competencies:

• Required: 3+ Years of relevant work experience
• Preferred: Experience in leading campaigns or driving partnerships
• Preferred: Work experience in the development space

Salary- Salary is decided based on the candidate's education and work experience. Our usual compensation for this role lies between 6.5 Lakh Per Annum - 7.5 Lakh Per Annum. We also take pride in providing the best of industry benefits such as PF, Gratuity, Medical Insurance, etc.
