Beauty Technical Head Job Type: Full-time No. of position : 4 Locations : Mumbai, Noida, Bengaluru and Kolkata Experience : 6+ yrs Overview: Lakme Academy Powered by Aptech, a leading beauty and grooming institute, is seeking a Technical Head to oversee the academic operations of multiple branches within a designated region. The ideal candidate will be a dynamic leader with a strong background in beauty education and management, capable of driving excellence in teaching and learning across all branches. Key Responsibilities: Academic Leadership: Provide strategic direction and leadership to ensure the highest standards of academic quality delivery across all branches within the region as per SOP. Collaborate with the LLPL team to develop and enhance curriculum materials, ensuring relevance, innovation, and alignment with industry standards. Recruit, train, and manage a team of skilled educators, providing guidance, support, and professional development opportunities to ensure their effectiveness in delivering high-quality instruction. Implement robust systems for monitoring and evaluating academic performance, including classroom observations, student assessments, and program reviews, to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes student engagement, motivation, and success, through initiatives such as workshops, Masterclasses, seminars, and extracurricular activities. Trainer & Orientation Session: Schedule regular orientation for both new trainers & Students Monitor Centre and Students readiness for final external assessment. Maintain effective communication channels with students, faculty, staff, and other stakeholders, addressing concerns and soliciting feedback, and promoting a culture of transparency. Compliance: Ensure adherence to all relevant regulations, accreditation standards, and internal policies, regarding academic matters, student welfare, health and safety. Prepare regular reports on academic performance, student outcomes, faculty development initiatives, and other key metrics, to inform decision-making and demonstrate progress towards organizational goals. Qualifications: Graduation (Post graduate will be advantage) Diploma in cosmetology or similar, must be well versed in Makeup, Skin & Hair (preferably nails also) from a verified academy. CIDESCO certified will be an added advantage. Minimum of 5 years of experience in beauty education, including teaching, curriculum development, and academic leadership roles. Strong understanding of industry trends, techniques, and best practices in beauty and grooming. Proven track record of effectively managing teams and achieving measurable results. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills, with the ability to interact professionally with diverse stakeholders. Demonstrated commitment to continuous improvement, innovation, and excellence in education. Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and other relevant software applications. Willingness to travel within the region as needed.
