Responsibilities:
• Identify and prospect potential colleges and educational institutions for partnership opportunities.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with decision-makers within colleges.
• Pitch our services effectively to colleges and negotiate partnership terms.
• Achieve sales targets and objectives within specified timelines.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to develop targeted strategies for lead generation.
• Expertise in drafting proposals and deliver persuasive presentations using Excel and PowerPoint.
• Develop key metrics to track brand perception amongst the relevant target groups.
• Make sense of the key internal and market trends and their implication on our business.
• Handle pressure situations with resilience and always maintain professionalism.
• Maintain accurate records of sales activities and customer interactions.
• Willingness to travel extensively (minimum 10-15 days per month) to meet clients and attend events.
• Provide timely reports and updates to the sales manager.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, or a related field.
• Proven experience in sales, preferably within the education sector or from a portal.
• Proven end-to-end sales skills- prospecting, pipeline management, closing and negotiation.
• Excellent communication skills in English and Hindi, both written and verbal.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint for creating reports and presentations.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet sales targets.
• Demonstrated negotiation skills and the ability to close deals.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with clients.
• Willingness to travel frequently for client meetings and industry events.
• Must have own laptop for work-related tasks.
