Job Description: Business Development Manager for International Admissions
Position Overview: We are seeking a proactive and results-oriented Business Development Manager to drive international admissions for our global MBA program. The ideal candidate will possess strong relationship-building skills to engage with GMAT centers, channel partners, and prospective students. This role requires a strategic mindset, excellent communication skills, and a passion for higher education.
Responsibilities:
• Developing Strategic Partnerships:
• Identify and establish partnerships with GMAT centers and other relevant educational institutions to promote our MBA program.
• Cultivate relationships with channel partners such as educational consultants, agencies, and corporate sponsors to expand our reach globally.
• Promoting Program Visibility:
• Implement marketing strategies to increase awareness of our MBA program among target demographics.
• Organize promotional events, webinars, and information sessions to engage with prospective students and stakeholders.
• Student Acquisition:
• Guide prospective students through the admissions process, providing information about program offerings, admission requirements, and financial aid options.
• Conduct informational interviews and presentations to address inquiries and convert leads into enrolled students.
• Market Analysis and Research:
• Stay updated on market trends, competitor offerings, and industry developments to identify opportunities for program growth and differentiation.
• Analyze student demographics and feedback to inform program enhancements and marketing strategies.
• Collaboration and Reporting:
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders such as admissions teams, marketing, and academic departments to align business development efforts with organizational goals.
• Prepare regular reports and presentations detailing key performance metrics, partnership updates, and actionable insights.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Education, or related field. Master's degree preferred.
• Proven experience in business development, preferably within the education sector or related industry.
• Strong network of contacts within the education ecosystem, including GMAT centers, educational consultants, and prospective students.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate the value proposition of our MBA program effectively.
• Strategic thinker with the ability to identify opportunities for growth and develop innovative solutions.
• Results-oriented mindset with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed.
