Job Description

"The Business Development Manager will be responsible to maintain and expand relationship for the assigned category. The incumbent is expected to further strengthen existing relationships of channel partners, Universities and colleges and also empanel new partners

Responsibilities

  • Identify new channel tie ups- meeting them and empanelling them
  • Manage and nurture existing relationships to help deliver business volumes
  • Training of the staff of counsellors/ channel regarding HDFC Credila products
  • Maintaining cost of Acquisition- design & launch channel contest, loyalty programs to drive business
  • Regularly visiting the channel to boost the business, understand outstanding issues and share leads feedback along with sales. Update the channel regularly on the pricing, product and special offer if any
  • Gathering leads across channels and allocating them to the sales manager. Work as a partner with sales team to collate feedback and sharing the same with channels as per requirement
  • Use tactical means to keep channel engaged and ensure higher referrals from them
  • Timely processing of payout for the channel, receive invoice in the prescribed format, check the billing, send the same for processing and ensure that the payout is made in the requisite time frame
  • Renewal of vendor agreements
  • Organize events with graduate colleges to ensure that HDFC Credila is the loan partner of choice for students going for higher education
  • Tie up with schools to capture the students going for overseas graduation program

Qualifications

  • Candidates in education industry well versed with channel management. Minimum 5 years of experience.
  • MBA with good communication skills who are go getters and can make inroads in college/ education consultants
  • Individual Contributor who can keep himself/ herself motivated with strong negotiation skills
  • Team Player- who can associate with larger teams to drive business

  • Excellent problem-solving skills,
  • Excellent verbal/written communication and data presentation skills, including an ability to effectively communicate with both students/ colleges/ consultants
